Terms of Service

1. Service Description

ZBounce Email Engine Platform offers a full spectrum of email-related services, accessible via our REST and gRPC APIs:

  • Domain Management
    • Register and list sender domains.
    • Generate and retrieve required SPF, DKIM and DMARC (optional) DNS records.
    • Verify DNS propagation and TXT record correctness.
  • Real-Time Email Verification
    • Fast single-address format and mailbox existence check.
    • Flags for disposable domains, catch-all (“accept-all” aka "risky" ) servers.
  • Batch Email Verification
    • Create large-scale verification tasks—up to 10 000 addresses at a time—with optional webhook callbacks.
    • Poll task status and metrics.
    • Retrieve paginated detailed results for each address.
  • Bulk Email Sending
    • Send templated or plain-text emails to thousands of recipients in one request.
    • Support for Go-style templates, inline HTML, multiple attachments, custom data per recipient.
    • Built-in mailbox probing options: validate before send, skip disposable or risky domains.
    • Webhook notifications for send completion or incremental delivery events.
  • Scheduled Mailings
    • Schedule one-time or recurring campaigns with time-zone support.
    • Automatic credit reservation equal to the number of recipients.
    • Full CRUD on scheduled jobs and webhook callbacks on completion or per-recipient results.
  • Webhook & Event Tracking Engine
    • Fully customizable callbacks with separate URLs for tasks statuses and events tracking keeps your app in sync in real time.
    • Secure delivery: each JSON payload with HMAC-SHA256 using your secret.
    • Optional HTTP Basic Auth adds an extra layer of endpoint protection.
    • Built-in retry policy plus support for a dead-letter queue to catch undeliverable webhooks.
    • Automatic platform-side processing of events builds and maintains per-recipient suppression lists, safeguarding deliverability and ensuring compliance with opt-out requests.
    • Comprehensive API Access
    • Comprehensive REST and gRPC interfaces, complete with OpenAPI and Protocol Buffers schemas, for seamless integration in any language or framework.
    • Consistent API-key authentication combined with flexible billing—choose pay-as-you-go or monthly subscription plans to match your usage and budget.

2. Account-Free Usage

Our service requires no user accounts. Access is granted solely through API keys which:

  • Have no personal identification information attached
  • Are not recoverable if lost
  • Automatically expire based on their credit balance or time limit

3. Payment and Refunds

All purchases are final. Due to the nature of our service:

  • Credits cannot be refunded once purchased
  • Unused credits expire 24 months after last top-up for Pay As You Go plans
  • Subscription plan credits do not roll over to subsequent months

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the ZBounce Email Engine Platform to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Advertise, promote or facilitate the sale or distribution of illicit drugs, controlled substances or related paraphernalia.
  • Distribute child pornography or any material that exploits or endangers minors.
  • Incite violence, terrorist activities, hate speech, threats or harassment against any individual or group.
  • Engage in any other conduct that is illegal under applicable international laws or conventions.

5. Service Limitations

ZBounce Email Engine Platform makes no guarantees about:

  • The accuracy or completeness of validation results, particularly for domains configured to accept all messages regardless of recipient validity.
  • Uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available access to the ZBounce Email Engine Platform or its features.
  • The availability of any particular features or specific pricing terms in the future.
  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from the use or misuse of the service, including but not limited to data loss, missed deliveries, or business interruption.
  • The lawful use of the ZBounce Email Engine Platform by end-users.
Note on accept-all domains: Some mail servers accept all emails regardless of address validity. While we flag these as "risky", we cannot guarantee actual mailbox existence for these domains.

6. Liability

ZBounce Email Engine Platform shall not be liable for any:

  • Direct or indirect damages resulting from service use
  • Financial losses related to email deliverability
  • Consequences of relying on validation and mailing results
ZBounce Email Engine Platform expressly disclaims all responsibility for actions taken by users in violation of applicable laws. In such cases, the ZBounce Email Engine Platform reserves the right to disclose any relevant session metadata, API activity, or connection information in its possession to competent law enforcement authorities, in accordance with applicable legal obligations and due process.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
